The Business
 
Investment, Risk and Reinsurance

The Role
 
In conjunction with Broker Support, monitor and record the placement process for all lines within Willis Re.  Create confirmation of cover and billing documents, delivering high quality service to all clients and ensuring that the service delivered is to pre-defined standards.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities
 
  • Generate a contract record using the transactional broking system
  • Ensure contract records are accurately maintained within transactional broking system
  • Load market on to transactional broking system in accordance with contract requirements, ensuring all taxes and other deductions are recorded
  • Ensure a final contract document has been issued in 30 days from contract certainty (CC) start and ensure the 1st cover document has been issued to the client within 30 days of CC start (KCO3)
  • Create new organisation records
  • Effectively communicate with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Ensure internal, client and market correspondence is stored on E-filing and WEM documents attached to transactional broking system
  • Ensure accurate processing of debit notes and closing instructions within the Willis Re timescales.
  • Where applicable ensure prompt chasing of accounts due from clients.
  • Prepare presentations for client and markets
  • Work closely with Broker Support and team to ensure effective delivery of client service to Willis clients
  • Manage and resolve queries from clients and reinsurers
  • Minimise late signings, working to rebroke with sales team support as necessary
  • Prevent funding where possible by regularly reviewing the Xchanging deferred instalment report
  • Ensure timely Bureaux submissions
  • Perform Second Pair Of Eyes (SPOE) checks at stages in Willis Excellence Model (WEM) process, ensure all sanctions touch-points are covered and act as an approved authoriser as appropriate
  • Adhere to standard Group policies and procedures, including all WEM and other regulatory requirements

Job Requirements


 
  • Educated to A level standard or relevant industry experience as a minimum. 
  • Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Suite)
  • Good communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to Organise and Prioritise, particularly under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously; and general willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with both Brokers and Clients
  • Good time management skills
