Our team consults to a broad array of clients on matters related to corporate governance, legislative and regulatory trends, performance analysis, risk management and compensation plan design/calibration, among others.

As a member our Compensation team, you will have the opportunity to work with industry-leading consultants in areas such as research, talent management, benefits, sales force effectiveness and compensation, communications, and global databases.

You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present results. The Role

You will work side-by-side with some of the industry’s top consultants while you develop cutting edge technical knowledge and skills, as well as project and client management capabilities.


Our clients span across a wide variety of industries; our projects range in scope from specific solutions (e.g., base pay program design, job evaluation, short-term and long-term incentive design, pay-level benchmarking, proxy analysis, custom survey development and analysis) to broad cross-line of business (LOB) engagements such as total rewards strategy and optimization, performance management, Employee Value Proposition development, etc.

While every day and every assignment are somewhat different, some of your main responsibilities will include:
  • Helping our clients evaluate their compensation programs by conducting competitive compensation benchmarking analyses
  • Performing industry and financial research
  • Developing peer groups to use in executive compensation benchmarking and program design
  • Gathering and analyzing compensation data from proxy and other public filings
  • Keeping abreast of legal, regulatory and legislative trends that relate to corporate governance and compensation
  • Assisting in the design of base pay structures to help our clients manage human capital costs while attracting and retaining employees
  • Conducting pay and performance analysis to assess effectiveness of sales incentive programs
  • Supporting the development, analyses and calibration of executive, broad-based and sales incentive plan designs
  • Modeling base pay, sales and annual incentive structures and conducting financial impact analyses of them
  • Valuing equity awards through the application of financial formulas
  • Drafting documents and reports summarizing the team’s analytical work to client audiences
  • Partnering with consultants and clients to design compensation philosophies and strategies that attract, reward and retain employees
  • Conducting job leveling using Willis Towers Watson’s job evaluation methodologies in order to build the foundational construct for our clients’ HR and compensation programs
  • Evaluating Board of Director compensation programs and levels


Job Requirements

The Requirements

□       Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics or any other major with significant quantitative course work, and minimum GPA of 3.0

□       Work experience that demonstrates strong technical and/or client service skills (analyst type of internship preferred)

□       Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed the standards of the client

□       Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment

□       Strong written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with colleagues at all levels

□       Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
