Willis Towers Watson's Risk Consulting and Software (RCS) business helps clients improve business performance related to insurance. We use our deep analytical skills to solve practical business problems, applying the latest techniques and software solutions to help clients measure and manage risk and capital, grow revenue and create competitive advantage. Our healthcare team brings this expertise, in addition to working across Willis Towers Watson to bring holistic thought leadership to healthcare insurers and providers, particularly in the area of value based care.
As a RCS Healthcare Consultant you will consult on a wide variety of complex projects involving the contracting, pricing, and financial modeling of a full array of value based care programs, for both providers and insurers. You will serve as the project manager and day to day communication liaison with our clients, create client deliverables, contribute to client management and new business activities, and participate in the creation of new intellectual capital.
As a consultant with our firm you can expect to gain tremendous exposure to all facets of provider and health insurance company operations.
There is a preference for the successful candidate for this position to be located in either Arlington, VA, Philadelphia, PA or Denver, CO, however, we are open to other locations for the right candidate.

Support the generation of new business by enhancing relationships with current clients and recommending new projects and solutions
Participate in prospecting opportunities with new clients as part of a broader team
Directly contribute to clients’ success through applying your technical expertise
Deliver superior, consistent client management and deliverables in support of a Senior Consultant for assigned clients:
Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams
Oversee the day to day project leaders, ensuring the progress of the teams against established objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables and quality standards
Serve as primary, daily contact to clients on delivery of services
Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Senior Consultants and Client Relationship Managers
Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issues
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects
Provide valued-added consulting expertise on complex projects including contract reviews, financial modeling of contracts terms, fee schedule development, performance benchmarking, network analysis and pricing
Contribute to the development of new tools, software and approaches which help our clients improve business performance
Key areas of focus will include pricing and financial modeling tools and software for provider risk-taking clients
Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
Serve as mentor to Analysts and Senior Analysts
Job RequirementsThe Requirements
7+ years of experience and success in healthcare pricing, analytics or financial management gained in a consulting or healthcare insurer environment
Experience with provider risk contracts and ACO development strongly desired
Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
Demonstrated success in managing client issues and relationships; some experience in growing relationships with current clients
Strong interpersonal and team skills
Polished and well developed oral and written communication skills
Self-starter attitude and ability to work with ambiguity
Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
Strong analytical and creative skills
Experience training/mentoring junior staff
The ability to see the 'big picture,' leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients' business challenges
Advanced knowledge of Excel required, working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word recommended, SAS and/or SQL programming knowledge a plus
Availability to travel on an as needed basis
ASA required, FSA preferred
