The Business


The Role

This position provides administrative and project-based support to the Liazon Carrier Operations Team Lead and Implementation Project Managers. In addition, you will manage a set of responsibilities that support the Carrier Operations/Sales relationship to ensure smooth quoting and timely plan availability. You will also support training on and management of carrier and partner paperwork.

  • Ongoing collaboration with Liazon Carrier Operations Implementation Project Managers, including ad hoc support as needed

  • Support intake of and internal education on carrier and vendor paperwork with a focus on process improvement

  • Apply Carrier Operations perspective and standards to early-stage sales functions to ensure smooth client implementations and renewals, including review of proposals and sold cases against offering rules and standard plan inventory

  • Monitor sales pipeline reports and compare with inventory in various stages to ensure plans are ready for use in a timely manner

  • Manage ongoing data projects with vendor partners and address their needs while maintaining project scope and standards

  • Maintain Dynamics data and assist with special projects as needed

  • Proactively seek ways to enhance current activities and make suggestions for improvements

  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders and communicate professionally within various mediums (E-mail, telephone)

  • Handle organization and execution of multiple projects, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks based on internal and external needs

  • Perform duties with minimal direction

  • Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in project management or customer/account management; ability to concurrently manage multiple projects

  • Benefit Administration and/or insurance background, including solid understanding of consumer-driven health programs, strongly preferred

  • Proficient in the use of computer programs and software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point. Ability to quickly learn various software applications

  • Able to work independently as well as cross-functionally in an organization to successfully implement projects

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; high attention to detail; ability to clearly and confidently explain new concepts to audiences
