Willis Towers Watson Client Development Group is a team of consultants responsible for:
- Communicating and demonstrating to clients and prospects within the Target Market unique capabilities and deep expertise across all lines of business
- Understanding and proactively responding to the full breadth of client's needs and developing business with them; and
- Generating profitable revenue growth from a large and growing book of business
The intern is responsible for providing support to the Client Development Group of Towers Watson.
The successful candidate must have problem solving skills, creativity, and professional maturity to develop relationships with senior level consultants. Past office experience is desirable but not required; however, extensive experience with MS Excel is required.
Research prospects, clients and industries
Maintain network drives and databases for client and team files
Assist presentation development
Create designs and templates for marketing communication programs
Support event planning for clients and employees
Other projects and duties as assigned
Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with colleagues at all levels
Deliver work in accordance to project deadlines
Assist in the development of account business plans
Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations
Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes
Assist in the development of financial year end data
Manipulate spreadsheet data to develop focused growth areas within the Target Market
Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by drafting proposals and responding to RFPs
Job RequirementsThe Requirements
Sophomore or Junior standing pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business or any other major with significant qualitative and quantitative course work, and a strong academic record.
Excellent research, data analysis, and organization skills
Demonstrable follow through skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Detail and multi-task oriented with strong organizational skills; accuracy in work essential
Excellent verbal, written and versatile interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently; be proactive and a self-starter
Strong work ethic
Sense of accountability; owning one’s work and taking pride in it
