Willis Towers Watson's Risk Consulting and Software (RCS) business helps clients improve business performance related to insurance. We use our deep analytical skills to solve practical business problems, applying the latest techniques and software solutions to help clients measure and manage risk and capital, grow revenue and create competitive advantage. Our healthcare team brings this expertise, in addition to working across Willis Towers Watson to bring holistic thought leadership to healthcare insurers and providers, particularly in the area of value based care.
As a Senior Healthcare Consultant you will be responsible for developing new business, leading and managing large client engagements and serving as strategic advisor to clients. You’ll also be asked to contribute your thought leadership to the overall development of the value based care practice.
As a consultant with our firm you can expect to gain tremendous exposure to all facets of provider and health insurance company operations.
We are open to the successful candidate for this role to be located in any of our US offcies with a preference for the Southeast.
Primary accountability for growing healthcare practice revenue, particularly in the area of value based care
Cross-sell new projects and services to current RCS clients; maximize the penetration of key accounts
Serve as the lead RCS healthcare strategist/subject matter expert in closing opportunities with new clients of the firm
Work with existing sales and Client Relationship Management teams to identify, develop and close new clients of the company
Lead client relationships from a RCS healthcare perspective
Lead and manage multiple RCS healthcare consulting client engagements
Establish a trusted advisor role with clients and provide consistent, superior relationship management
Identify opportunities to cross sell projects and services to current clients
Build leveraged teams that work effectively together
Develop plans for execution of large, complex engagements
Ensure consultants are maintaining team progress against established budget, timeline and quality standards
Finalize and present quality deliverables to clients
Development of Intellectual Capital
Contribute to the development of new tools, software and approaches which help our clients improve business performance
Key areas of focus will include pricing and financial modeling tools and software for provider risk-taking clients
Demonstrate extensive leadership ability by mentoring other consultants
Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
Job RequirementsThe Requirements
Proven ability to generate revenue
10+ years of experience and success in healthcare pricing, analytics or financial management gained in a consulting or healthcare insurer environment
Experience with provider risk contracts and ACO development strongly desired
Track record of success in managing complex client relationships and leading teams
Experience in managing multiple people and projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
Proven ability to recognize and diagnose issues, work in teams, and leverage the resources of other related practices to address client challenges
An executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills
Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in value based care strategy and contributing to the development of new tools and approaches
Availability to travel on an as needed basis
A Masters level degree in healthcare or actuarial designation (ASA or FSA) strongly preferred
