    Graduate opportunities (full time)

    We offer a number of opportunities that give graduates immediate exposure to actual client assignments through direct hire positions into a specific business area. They will challenge your imagination and creativity, as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present recommendations. These opportunities will help you quickly build technical knowledge, consulting skills and overall industry experience.

    Core business graduates

    We look for graduates and students anticipating graduation from an undergraduate or Master’s program between December and June who have less than 12 months of relevant business experience. We offer positions within all four of our core business segments:

    Graduate Development Program

    A key component of Willis Towers Watson’s aggressive growth strategy is attracting the next generation of leaders to the firm. Sponsored by senior management, the Graduate Development Program (GDP) is a two-year cross-business rotational program designed to attract high-potential talent with demonstrated customer focus and leadership aptitude.

    Graduate Development Program participants benefit from a common global start date and a structured learning curriculum that includes an intensive two-week orientation program as well as in-between rotation class meetings. Graduates have continuing access to senior management, performance management and ongoing support and coaching from the Program Manager. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are placed in roles that focus on continued career development to further develop leadership potential.

    The GDP is offered in the following locations:

    • U.K.
    • U.S. - Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco
    • Singapore

You'll apply your education in an environment that is both intellectually challenging and rewarding. At the end of your time with us, you'll have a greater understanding of what we do and how closely our career offerings match your career ambitions.

    We offer two distinct internship opportunities:

    Core business internship

    At Willis Towers Watson, we devote a lot of time and energy to making our internship opportunities the best they can be. Why? We consider interns to be critical. After all, many of our best university hires were once our best interns.

    The Core business internship offers students immediate exposure to actual client assignments through direct hire internships in a specific business area. We look for students anticipating graduation from an undergraduate or Master’s program between December and June who have less than 12 months of relevant business experience.

    While internships may vary slightly, each typically runs for six to eight weeks across the summer months in your area of the world. We offer internships within all four of our core business segments:

    • Exchange Solutions
    • Human Capital and Benefits
    • Corporate Risk & Broking
    • Investment, Risk and Reinsurance

    An internship at Willis Towers Watson will provide you with valuable real-world experience while you are still a student. You'll apply your education in an environment that is both intellectually challenging and rewarding. At the end of your time with us, you'll have a greater understanding of what we do and how closely our career offerings match your professional ambitions.

    As a largely project-based business, no two days are the same! We work hard to ensure your time with us is well-planned so that you leave us feeling you've actually contributed to client projects and developed your skills further—from project management to communication and presentation skills.

    Graduate Development Program Summer Internship

    Our Graduate Development Program Summer Internship serves as the cornerstone of our full-time Graduate Development Program (GDP). The Internship Program targets students who are one year away from graduation. It is a structured program designed to provide graduates with hands-on experience in one of our businesses.

    The GDP Summer Internship Program is available in the following locations:

    • U.K.
    • U.S. - Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco
    • Singapore

    The program provides an excellent opportunity for students one year away from graduation to gain hands-on experience and contribute to one of our businesses over the course of the summer. At the end of the summer, high-performing interns will be considered for the full-time Graduate Development Program.

    Summer internship program designed to provide participants with hands-on experience in one of our businesses. Program components include:

    Insight Day

    Our annual Insight Day is a one-day event where you will have the opportunity to find out more about each of our business areas and meet our consultants. Insight Day is designed for anyone who is either in the first year of a three-year university program or a second year of a four-year university program. It is also for people who are considering a change of career and can only take one day away from their present job to sample a new working environment.

    Insight Day is typically held in early April and offers you the opportunity to participate in various interactive exercises. It is intended to give you a hands-on experience of the type of work we do and a full understanding of the skills required to be successful at Willis Towers Watson.

    We recruit on a first come, first served basis, and cease accepting applications once all vacancies are filled. Once you have decided for which program you would like to apply, we recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible. Application closing date is January 31.

    REACH Program (U.S.)

    Our Reinsurance Achievement Program—or REACH—is operated by Willis Re, our Reinsurance division. We are seeking 2016 graduates who want a solid foundation while they begin their career in the reinsurance industry. REACH is a direct hire program.
